Ballet Standard Exams

These are the set ISTD Cecchetti Ballet Syllabus. We teach these classes and their respective syllabi to our dancers with the intention of them entering for examinations. Exams are not compulsory but we do encourage them as a positive way of recognising the children’s had work and progression. Each class is carefully structured to gradually progress whilst learning ballet. The exercises get more complicated and harder to execute as children move up in their grades. We focus more on technique and the correct posture and placement, but always put the child and their needs first to ensure everyone gets the most from their classes and comes out feeling positive.
